Pet Bowl Workshop 16 MAY

Service Description

In this 2 hour class you will be guided by your teacher to use tools and clay to add to our pre-made pet bowl to create your own personalised piece. Choose from a variety of tools to stamp, carve or add shapes/letters on to the plain pet bowl base that has been wheel thrown for you and kept at the leather hard stage to allow it to be personalised in this class. You will be making with our stoneware clay and have the option of our own glazes to be applied or return to a painting session to add your own design in coloured underglaze, at a cost of £5 for a two hour session. Please note this class is for adults and teens age 14yrs+. Under 18's must be accompanied by a participating adult. After 3-4 weeks we will email to notify you that your pots are ready for collection. We advise you to come in clothing you don't mind getting a bit dirty - pottery can get a little messy! It will also help if your nails are short and you don't have jewellery on - but it isn't essential. * Due to the nature of ceramics not all pots make it out of the firing process in one piece - we will do our best to take care of your creations but cannot be responsible if pots are damaged or destroyed in the firing process and unfortunately we cannot offer refunds if this occurs. ** If booking for more than one participant please check there is space prior to booking, This can be checked with the participant number drop down - if this is not showing there is only one space remaining in the class.
