POTTERY CLASS INFO
Our pottery classes are focused on giving you the freedom to explore your own ideas and creativity with the guidance and support of your teacher. Whether you have seen the 'Throw Down' on channel 4 and become intrigued or maybe you're a creative in a different field and want to explore what ceramics can add to your practice - we can offer you the chance to wheel throw, hand build and explore decorating techniques in our beautiful studio in the heart of Bury St Edmunds.

The ceramic classes are taught by Claire, a former high school teacher with over a decade of experience. All the equipment. materials and kiln are housed in the studio, a light and spacious space which is part shop and part studio. The relaxed atmosphere is integral to the ethos and classes are taught to be fun but informative.

Our taster classes are a great starting point to try out ceramics. Our set up of 8 pottery wheels make classes social (if you like!) and allow for group bookings. We can also cater for larger groups up to 16 to include some hand building alongside the wheel throwing. If you have a particular project in mind our 6 week courses can take you through the process from making, trimming, refining and glazing. The courses are suited to both beginners and more experienced potters. We also run one-off workshop type sessions making specific items both for adults and kids.

The best way to hear about new classes is to subscribe to our website where you'll receive a newsletter that will have all the latest updates, offers and launches of new products, classes and workshops. We also have a very active Instagram account which allows you to see the day to day running of the studio and shop!
